About the Community

Belemdougou is an ECLIC community located in the Gôh-Djiboua district, in the Gôh region and in the Gagnoa department. Attached to the sub-prefecture of Serihio, it is about 40 km from Gagnoa on the Gagnoa-Soubré axis.

The population is estimated at about 533 people. It is composed of: Moré (Burkinabe), Dioula, Samoko, Dagari, Gourmanchin and Baoulé.
The community has no primary school or health centre;
The community has a functioning human-powered pump;
The community has no electricity.
