Gnondrou
About the Community
Gnondrou is an ECLIC community located in the Montagnes district and the region of Guémon (Department of Kouibly). It is attached to the Sub-prefecture of Ouyably-Gnondrou. The estimated population is approximately 2,353 people. The most common ethnic groups in the region are Wobé (Aboriginal), Baoulé, Senoufos, Wan, Burkinabe and Beninese.
- The community has two public primary schools;
- The community does not have a health centre. The nearest health facility is 3 km away (Pombly);
- The community has a hydraulic pump;
- A CCPC is implemented;
- Gnondrou is not connected to the electricity grid, but an electrification project is underway.
