Located in the Guémon Region, more precisely in the Department of Duékoué, the village of Ipouba is an ECLIC community. It is 53 km from the town of Duékoué and 10 km from the Sub-prefecture of Gbapleu to which it is attached. The population is estimated at 751 people. The majority of the ethnic groups are Yacoubas, Baoubés, Malinkés, Mossis, Senoufos and Wans.
