Piébly 1 is an ECLIC community located in the district of Montagnes and in the region of Guémon; especially in the department of Kouibly and is attached to the Sub-prefecture of Ouyably-Gnondrou from which it is 28 km away from the capital (Ouyably-Gnondrou).The population is estimated at about 3808 people. It is composed of a large majority of indigenous Wobé, allochtones Baoulé, Sénoufo, Lobi, Mandé and allogene Burkinabe, Malian, Beninese.
