Résultat
  • Increased monitoring and awareness of hazardous child labour through Community Child Protection Committee activities.
  • Due to the construction of a Junior High School (JHS) in the community, children don’t have to walk far to access this level of education. Subsequently, the JHS in Aboagyekrom shows a school attendance rate of 98%. Children who otherwise would have ended their education at primary school level and participated in hazardous activities are now enrolled in JHS.
  • Due to the provision of school desks, gross school enrollment at a primary school level has increased significantly. Other factors contributing to this include a school feeding programme, enrollment drive motivated by SMC/CCPC.
  • Food is prepared for 261 children irrespective of the weather in the school kitchen and the dining hall provides a hygienic place for the children to eat.
  • Increase of cocoa yields due to the Farmer Field Schools. Parents and guardians use the additional income to provide for educational needs of their children/wards.
