ICI/YEN DAAKYE (YDK) Project Reports

ICI/Yen Daakye (YDK) Project was set up as a pilot in 2004 as a community-driven initiative for the elimination of the worst forms of child labour in the cocoa industry through a child-centred development programme. It was a collaboration between the International Cocoa Initiative (ICI), PDA as its coordinating agency in Ghana and three district implementing partners. To help with the sharing process on lessons learnt and good practices, a collection of four reports reflecting upon the practice and the resulting community-based interventions were prepared in 2011. It is important to note, that these reports are based on ICI’s former community development model.
