Increasing Cocoa Productivity Through Improved Nutrition: A Call to Action

This brief, produced by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, analyzes statistics on cocoa production and nutritional data in three cocoa producing countries: Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire and Indonesia. Its findings show that populations in cocoa producing areas experience severe under-nutrition, as evidenced by high rates of stunting and child mortality.
