Government to blacklist Cocoa cultivated from Forest reserves

Cocoa produced from Ghana’s forest reserves is to be blacklisted not only in Ghana but on the international market.
The new policy which will soon be rolled out is aimed at protecting and preserving the country’s Forest reserves.
The Chief Planning Officer and Policy Coordinator at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Joseph Osiakwan, said the policy is being developed in collaboration with Ghana COCOBOD and the Forestry Commission.
