The importance of reinforcing women’s economic power in cocoa communities

Women’s Economic Strengthening Units (CFREC), implemented  by the International Cocoa Initiative in certain cocoa communities in Côte d’Ivoire, can have an important impact on social and economic development, women’s autonomy and on reinforcing quality education, if managed correctly.
