Community Development Programme
ICI’s community development programme targeted cocoa communities in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire to improve the live of children by safeguarding their rights. The project sought to contribute to the elimination of child labour by supporting the acceleration and scale-up of child-centred community development and responsible supply-chain management through the cocoa sector.
Eliminating Child Labor in Cocoa (ECLIC)
The ECLIC project, with funding from the United States Department of Labor, targeted 50 cocoa-growing communities in Côte d’Ivoire with support to directly combat child labour, principally through the development of Community Action Plans.
