Aborekrom – Joyce Sackey
Resident of Abokerom community
Joyce Sackey, mother and resident of Abokerom community, explains how economic empowerment training changed her and her family’s life.
“Before the women economic empowerment training organized by ICI, I was jobless for seven years. I was unhappy because I couldn’t support my family and afford buying some personal items we needed. I learned how to make soap at the workshop. I make soap now and sell them here at Aborekrom. Now I can help my husband take care of the family and other needs. We are so happy now as a family and enjoying our marriage.”
