Cocoa Farmer
James Kojo Benyin, a cocoa farmer, explains how attending a farmer field school improved his crop and helped his community.
“I have worked for about sixty years. Prior to the farmer field school trainings organized by ICI, farmers cultivated using the traditional farming methods. Farming was difficult, and as a result we could not have enough money. We are utilizing the knowledge acquired at the field school. We harvest more yield now. Most are now enjoying life. Most farmers can send their children to school. Others are building more houses.”
