Upcoming event: Operationalising Human Rights Due Diligence in the Cocoa Sector

With new EU legislation such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive on the horizon, there's a growing need to address the practical implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence. Competent authorities of EU Member States will need to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to enforce the legislation effectively and companies need legal certainty on what constitutes acceptable due diligence. In parallel, the EU is committed to supporting cocoa-producing countries such as Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire in creating the right enabling environment to drive sustainable cocoa forward.
