CLCCG

The Child Labor Cocoa Coordinating Group (CLCCG) is a public-private partnership to tackle the Worst Forms of Child Labour in the cocoa sector of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. It was founded in 2010 to bring together the governments of Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana, the U.S Department of Labor, and representatives from the cocoa and chocolate industry, to ensure efforts are complementary and resources are directed where they are needed most. ICI has been an active member of the CLCCG since its creation, and is currently active both as technical expert and technical coordinating partner.

The current bylaws of the CLCCG (2024) can be found here in English and French.

In 2024, the CLCCG signed a 2024-2029 Framework of Action – more information can be found here:  2024-2029 Framework of Action – CLCCG | ICI Cocoa Initiative
