The Government of Côte d'Ivoire’s Ministry of Employment and Social Protection has as its mission to regulate on employment and work-related issues and protect the welfare of the country’s citizens. ICI works closely with the Ministry on projects related to child labour and workers’ rights. In particular, ICI supports the Child Labour Department in the development of child labour monitoring systems (Système d'Observation et de Suivi du Travail des Enfants en Côte d'Ivoire – SOSTECI).
