Fernande joined ICI as Environmental Health and Pesticide Risk Specialist in August 2024. She trained as a midwife. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of Nancy-Lorraine and a Diploma in Public Health Fundamentals from the same university. She also obtained a university Diploma in Epidemiology from ISPED in Bordeaux.
Fernande worked as a midwife from 2008 to 2016 at the Farah Medical Clinic, then at the Koumassi General Hospital, before joining the Elizabeth Glaser Foundation (EGPAF).
From May 2016 to July 2024, at EGPAF, she successively held the positions of HIV Program Manager, Technical Advisor for testing and PMTCT, and finally Senior Technical Advisor in charge of the community component of the foundation's main project (including DREAMS, OEV, HIV prevention and testing, and community engagement).
