Mike Arthur was trained by KPMG as an Auditor and Governance Expert. He is an International Development Practitioner who worked for over 19 years with SOS Kinderdorf International, the umbrella organization responsible for SOS Children’s Villages worldwide, in finance, operations, strategy and governance, across Africa and the Middle East. Finally, he headed the Internal Audit Team of Africa and the Middle East, comprising over forty countries. From 2014-2017 he was the Vice-President of a University College in Ghana.
Mike joined the ICI, as the Country Director for Ghana in March 2017. He is responsible for implementing ICI’s strategy and programme activities in Ghana as well as building strong relationships and partnerships with the government, regulators, diplomatic institutions, multilateral organisations, chocolate and cocoa companies, civil society organisations and the cocoa growing communities.
