This report, produced by the Ghana Statistical Service, focuses on Child Labour in Ghana and is based on the results obtained from the Ghana Living Standards Survey Round 6 (GLSS 6), a nation-wide household survey, which was conducted between October 2012 and October 2013. Important survey findings include that 21.8% of children aged 5-17 years were engaged in child labour, that a greater percentage of rural children were involved in child labour than were urban children, and that 14.2% of children covered in the survey were engaged in hazardous forms of child labour.
