Produced by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and the Sustainable Tree Crops Program, this report provides broad baseline information on occupational safety and health issues in Ghana's cocoa sector. The report reveals that cocoa farmers lack knowledge on the proper use of agrochemicals and personal protective equipment, safe lifting techniques and the need to observe enough rest, among other occupational and safety issues.
