This article examines the socioeconomic factors affecting small holder cocoa farmer's adoption of Cocoa Pest and Disease Control (CODAPEC) and Cocoa-High Tech Technology, interventions introduced by the Ghana government in 2001 to boost cocoa production. The study results indicate that farmer experience and training as well age of household head, household size and social capital positively influence adoption of the interventions.
