Grievance mechanisms allow workers to raise complaints about actions by their employer that may have impacted their human rights or labour rights. These mechanisms can be used to resolve disputes, investigate allegations of abuse and provide remedies for those impacted.

It is important that workers are aware of their rights and of the existence of grievance mechanisms in their communities.

ICI has developed a film to raise awareness about labour rights and the role of grievance mechanisms.

The film and a guidance note on how to use it will be published shortly.
