The aim of this report is to assess how national systems for combating child labour can support the compliance of the Ivorian cocoa sector with new European standards, in particular the European Union's Deforestation Regulation and the Proposal for a Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence, by proposing improvements, illustrating practical cases of compliance and making recommendations for targeted action with the European Union.
