Using data collected by the National Bureau of Statistics in collaboration with the ILO and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment of Nigeria in the Nigeria Child Labour and Forced Labour Survey (NCFLS) 2022, this report aims to assess the prevalence of child labour in Nigeria and analyse the interaction between child labour, schooling and children’s well-being. The report also examines the patterns of child employment, the conditions of this employment and the key household characteristics that may contribute to child employment and child labour.
